these are our Go To lights. Battery or AC plug in. love the soft box too. We have a spot version which has a nice throw but can easily be softened with the included diffusion panel, or some diffusion gel. The soft box does a nice job too. It has a dimmer and you can kill part of it as well so very adjustable. Color cast, much talked about by techies on forums, is very nice. Comes with a lite magenta which has the lite meshing well with daylight. Shooting under modern fluorescents, use no gel. Shooting with tungsten room lights, just add the included orange gel. Easy and visually pleasing. If you need to lite a whole giant room florescent fixtures with multiple bulbs would be needed. Want to compete with full sun or need a 40' throw, maybe buy some spots. But for dovetailing our lights with indoor environments / shoot interviews etc - these rock !
