Cool Lights USA ("CoolLights") believes in your right to privacy and is committed to the use of fair information practices on the Internet. This CoolLights Privacy Statement applies to CoolLights's web site at www.CoolLights.biz (the "CoolLights Site") and the services offered via the CoolLights Site (the "CoolLights Services"). By using the CoolLights Site and/or the CoolLights Services (collectively, "CoolLights Site/Services"), you agree to the terms of this Privacy Statement.
TYPES OF INFORMATION COLLECTED
Personal Information. When you register to become a member of CoolLights or buy a product, you will be asked to provide certain personal information. Examples of the personal information that we collect include, but are not limited to, your name, company name, address, e-mail address, and telephone number.
IP Addresses. An internet protocol address ("IP address") is the unique number that identifies the computer you are using to browse the Internet. CoolLights may use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the CoolLights Site, track users' movements, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
DISCLOSURE AND USE OF INFORMATION COLLECTED
Information Provided During Registration. Some or part of the personal information you provide us when registering as a member of CoolLights is publicly available on the CoolLights Site as part of your member profile.
This means that a subset of your member profile may be accessed and viewed by other members or corporate sponsors of CoolLights. You may choose to opt-out of this public disclosure of your member profile by contacting us at memberadmin@coollights.biz. You may change or edit information about yourself in your member profile at any time using your Member Preferences page in the Member's Lounge.
Posted Information. The CoolLights Site allows you to post information in public forums. Any information you voluntarily disclose through this medium is necessarily disclosed to the public.
E-Mail and Promotional Materials. We send all new members a welcome e-mail to verify password and username. In addition CoolLights publishes an email newsletter periodically. This service is optional and may be administrated from the Member Preferences Page. CoolLights reserves the right to send promotional materials in the future.
Aggregate Information Shared with Third Parties. From time to time, we may disclose anonymous information or personal information about our members in the form of aggregated statistics to third parties for marketing purposes.
Other Third Party Disclosure. CoolLights reserves the right to disclose any personal information about you or your use of the CoolLights Site/Services, including its content, without your prior permission if CoolLights has a good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (1) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process; (2) protect and defend the rights or property of CoolLights or its affiliated companies; (3) enforce the Terms of Use; or (4) act to protect the interests of its members or others.
Additionally, CoolLights may sell, transfer or otherwise disclose your personal information in the event of a corporate merger, consolidation or the sale of substantially all its assets.

The CoolLights Site may contain images of and links to third party web sites ("Linked Sites"). The Linked Sites are not under the control of CoolLights and CoolLights is not responsible for the content of any Linked Site. Use of information collected at Linked Sites is subject to any privacy policies at those sites.
DATA FROM CHILDREN
CoolLights does not collect data from individuals that identify themselves as children under the age of thirteen, and the CoolLights Site/Services are not intended for use by children under the age of thirteen. If CoolLights becomes aware that it has received information from a child under the age of thirteen, we will delete all personally identifiable information concerning that child from our records.
SECURITY
CoolLights wants your personal information to remain as secure as reasonably possible. CoolLights secures the personal information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access. When highly confidential information, such as a credit card number, is transmitted over the Internet, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT
The CoolLights Privacy Statement is subject to change at any time. If any material changes are made to this Privacy Statement, we will notify you by posting the revised date next to the privacy policy link on our home page.
